We work closely with a range of different clients; from Architects & Interior Designers who are designing a new home or commercial space for their client, to Builders who want to suggest an alternative finish, to home owners who are doing a new build or renovation. The brief might change, but the product 90% of our enquiries are about do not, and that’s X-Bond.
If you’ve found this page and you’re not sure what X-Bond is, you can read some more information here. The versatility of X-Bond is what makes it our true MVP. Below we’ve curated some before and after pictures showing different areas X-Bond can be used. From wet rooms to joinery, walls and flooring you can X-Bond almost anything. Our team of surface engineers developed X-Bond over 25 years ago, and now it get’s even better with the introduction of our Liquid Membrane.
Liquid Membrane doubles as a waterproof and anti-fracture membrane. It’s a coating that’s first applied under X-Bond when installing over uneven substrates, wood surfaces and tiles. Like everything we do, we only use the best quality products and our Liquid Membrane is one of the most advanced Liquid Membranes on the market with over 1300% elongation and outstanding adhesion properties. Our Liquid Membrane allows for X-Bond to be installed in a multitude of applications and over almost any substrate.
As they say, the proof is in the pudding, so take a look below!
Pools
From plunge pools to olympic sized swimming pools, X-Bond can be used for a seamless, concrete-looking finish. The first product to be applied is our Liquid Membrane, which is a flexible, anti-fracture waterproof membrane. Liquid Membrane is applied in pools to firstly waterproof a leaking pool but also to keep water from negative pressure out. For example concrete pools that are in the ground get negative water pressure when the ground is wet after rain and the water is soaked up by the concrete. So the Liquid Membrane does not only prevent the water inside the pool from leaking but also water from the ground to come in.
