If you would like to achieve a concrete textured finish without actually using concrete, X-Bond could be the answer you’ve been looking for. X-Bond is one of the most advanced micro-cement solutions on the market. Consisting of stone and a liquid polymer, X-Bond is hand applied over an existing substrate at approximately 3mm thick to replicate the look and feel of various concrete textures including pre-cast concrete, polished concrete, stucco and natural concrete. X-Bond can be applied to floors, walls and joinery so that you can have a seamless concrete looking finish on various surfaces throughout your project. X-Bond Seamless Stone
X-Bond Seamless Stone is hand trowelled at 3mm thick over an existing substrate and then sealed with either an internal or external sealer. The hand trowelled effect of this finish creates a rustic feel with visible trowel marks and colour / tonal variation throughout. If you’re after a seamless concrete finish with both smooth and rough areas, X-Bond Seamless Stone is a great alternative.
X-Bond Polished Stone
X-Bond Polished Stone is hand trowelled at 3mm thick over an existing substrate, and then sanded with a heavy duty sanding machine to smoothen the surface prior to sealing. Due to the added process of sanding, the X-Bond Polished Stone finish has more contrasting colour and tonal variation than the Seamless Stone finish and creates a smoother feel.
X-Bond Mineral
If you’re after a stucco textured finish for your walls or ceilings, our X-Bond Mineral finish is a versatile alternative that can also be used on floors to create a high anti-slip flooring. With the X-Bond Mineral finish, the X-Bond is applied to the surface using a spray gun. The spray gun creates a splatter effect that’s high in texture, creating a timeless effect.
Do you want to add more texture to your external concrete slab but you would still like the floor to look like a concrete finish? With the Grain finish, we apply X-Bond over an external concrete slab at approximately 2mm thick with a blade. The blade creates chatter marks which are visible to see and touch providing a textured finish with colour variation.
