Project Highlight: FY Smile
Designed by Esoteriko Interior Architecure, there’s alot to smile about when you walk through the doors at FY Smile, Double Bay. One of the most beautifully designed cosmetic dentists we have ever seen that provides a calm and non-intimidating environment.
Drawing upon Japanese design principles to emulate a tranquil retreat, the Esoteriko team have created a sancturary-like space that feels more like a retreat than a clinic. This is where our Terradec stone in Seashell comes in, installed on the floors in consulting and transition spaces to create a textured, natural and minimalist backdrop to complement the ‘minty fresh’ aesthetic, giving the sense of an outdoor landscape.
“All spaces connected by a meandering pathway; A complex hierarchy of spaces and their relationships dictated the layout and provided an opportunity to reinforce a sense of an ‘outdoor’ space. A glazed ‘floating’ pavilion to the centre of the site edged with a ‘skylight’ detail and a rock garden The pebble-crete floor finish throughout the consulting and transition spaces further enhance the sense of the landscape”
